Sony Playstation games in 3D have been mentioned before. Development in firmware would facilitate the launch of 3D games for the Playstation console. Should this happen, and we believe it will, then it seems logical that the PS4 will have 3D functionality from launch. Given the way the movie industry is going, 3D games seems to be the way forward along with 3D TV, 3D DVD and no doubt 3D Blu-Ray DVD movies.
At the Las Vegas CES, Sony were demonstrating some 3D games which whilst not for release, aren’t developed just for fun are they? No doubt they were testing reaction and gauging gamer industry interest. Whether the PS4 is launched with 3D from the start remains to be seen but one thing is for certain, it will appear at some stage in the PS4’s life cycle.

The new PS3 slim will have an update which people can buy and get 3d, I saw a video of it at a gaming convention.
